‘Steel Magnolias’ hits the stage in Casper
CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) – Stage III Community Theatre in Casper is gearing up for their first show of the season, ‘Steel Magnolias’. The show tells the story of six women in a small Southern town who get together to gossip and lean on each other for support. At its core, ‘Steel Magnolias’ is about the power and complexity of friendship. Buffie LaRocca, the show director, says it’s the definition of bittersweet.
She says, “I think it’ll be a really beautiful moment to come together at the beginning of September and start the season on a play that has meant so much to so many people, men and women alike, but mostly that you understand that your tribe is there.”
Steel Magnolias will be showing at the Stage III Community Theatre September first through seventeenth.
