The Bridgerton cast went all out for the Season 3 premiere in NYC

Dear Teen Vogue readers, it’s time to step back into the world of Regency London once again, as Bridgerton returns for its highly anticipated third season. The season three premiere took place in New York City, and many of our favorite faces from the ‘Ton were there to celebrate.

This season focuses on Nicola Coughlan’s Penelope Featherington and her budding romance with Colin Bridgerton, played by Luke Newton. The two leads looked stunning in their premiere looks, with Coughlan wearing an off-the-shoulder white dress with a bold peplum and knee-length white gloves with an Artists4Ceasefire pin and bright red lips, and Newton wearing a red and black patterned coat and black pants.

Coughlan told Teen Vogue that she sees parallels between Penelope’s journey and her own. “I think a lot of Penelope’s story is about her coming out of the darkness and into the light, taking her space,” she explained. “I felt like I had to do that too. It’s funny.”

Coughlan and Newton weren’t the only Bridgerton lovebirds on the red carpet. Season two regulars Simone Ashley and Jonathan Bailey, aka Kanthony, posed together; Ashley wore a strapless silver sequined gown, while Bailey wore a white suit over a sheer white top.
