The Twilight Saga could be returning for more sequels if Lionsgate have anything to do with it

It was the young adult film franchise that led to all the other young adult film franchises.

Now, Lionsgate have revealed that more Twilight movies could be a ‘possibility’ in the future.

The film studio’s co-chief Patrick Wachsberger claims the vampire drama could continue even though the last film, Breaking Dawn – Part 2, neatly wrapped up Bella and Edward’s story.
But the exec stressed it all depended on author Stephenie Meyer.

‘It’s about Stephenie. If she wants to tell a story related to those characters, we’re here for her.’

The Twilight Saga film series has grossed $3.3 billion (£2.5b) worldwide so it’s not surprising that Lionsgate would be open to continuing the franchise.

The five movies were based on four of Meyer’s books and made leads Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson huge stars.
R-Pattz has already ruled out a return to the series citing old age as the reason he can’t step back into the role of eternally youthful vampire, Edward Cullen.

‘I’d be curious what Stephenie would write, but I just think I’d probably be too old,’ he previously told a press conference at Berlin Film Festival.

‘I’m already too old. But yeah, it’d be kind of interesting.’

Come on, Rob. Thirty’s not that old.
No need to throw yourself off a cliff hoping to get a glimpse of Movie Party fun, because we’re back from Italy with another interactive TWILIGHT screening.

It’s a whole NEW MOON this time around. Edward’s gone, Jacob hit puberty in a big way, and Bella has a serious case of separation anxiety. The only thing that hasn’t changed is how much fun you’ll have. You give us everything we need just by breathing, but we’re giving all of you some themed gifts like BWTHHYBL bumper stickers, mini desk calendars, and custom bandaids. Be sure to keep that last one handy for papercuts at family gatherings.

So whether you’re Team Edward or Team Jacob, hop on your motorcycle and join us for another adventure in Forks that’s…kind of beautiful.
