On today’s The Young and the Restless recap:
Chance and Nicholas are chatting at Society. Chance said he trusted Sharon and did not see any of this mess coming. Nicholas agrees saying he hasn’t been able to get it all out of his head. He always returns to the night of Lucy and Faith’s car accident, which he thinks was one of Sharon’s turning points… but things weren’t right even before that. Nicholas mentions how Sharon thought her meds were off and Chance questions whether or not she consulted a doctor. Nicholas confirms they changed the dosage but the situation still got worse. Chance thinks Michael can use that point as an angle, but it doesn’t erase her confession.
Chance has a grasp on the situation but says he’s unwilling to chase down other explanations for Heather’s death when Sharon confessed. Nicholas pushes saying he could unofficially investigate. He notes how her doctors have, once again, changed her dosage. He pulls out a pill bottle indicating what he’s presenting is the previous prescription. Chance questions how Nicholas procured the meds and he says he grabbed them out of the trash. Chance freaks out a bit but Nicholas says it just might be a place to start to see if the meds were contaminated or expired. Chance thinks he’s grasping at straws but Nicholas doubles down and asks for his help.
