The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) won’t give up when it comes to bringing Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) down. Y&R fans know Phyllis has been trying to get Sharon to crack – and she came pretty close since Sharon nearly lost it over Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) funeral.
However, Sharon went running off in despair instead of giving Phyllis the confession she begged for.
Phyllis is desperate to clear Daniel Romalotti Jr.’s (Michael Grazadei) name, but she may have to try another tactic if she wants to ensure her son’s freedom.
Since Phyllis is convinced that Sharon is to blame for Heather’s demise and Daniel’s frame-up, she could easily go on the hunt for evidence.
Phyllis might decide Sharon couldn’t have covered her tracks as well as she thinks she did.
That could lead to Phyllis breaking in the cottage on a mission to find proof of Sharon’s guilt.
Phyllis might hope she can uncover something that’ll sink Sharon and go digging when she knows her rival’s out of the house.
Then again, it’s possible Phyllis could take things a step further by planting evidence instead.
Although Phyllis previously shut down Michael Baldwin’s (Christian LeBlanc) concerns that she might frame Sharon, she might change her mind and set her up after all.
From Phyllis’ perspective, she’d think it’s entirely fair since Sharon already framed Daniel.
Plus, Phyllis fully believes Sharon is guilty, so she certainly wouldn’t feel bad about framing her to take the blame for her own crimes.
Whether Phyllis kicks off a sneaky evidence search or goes as far as plotting a frame-up of her own, trouble could be brewing.
If Phyllis does break in, Sharon may bust her and call the cops.
It’s easy to imagine Sharon demanding Phyllis’ arrest and using this as fuel for the restraining order she’s been considering.
Bottom line, Phyllis’ potential home invasion could make a mess of things, so we’ll bring you predictions on whether a break-in might be coming up.
