In 2016, the Ramsay family learned that mother Tana Ramsay was pregnant. With Gordon and Tana both loving their children, it seems the couple were overjoyed by the news.

Tragically, in October of that same year, Gordon announced on Facebook that his family had suffered a loss no one should have to experience.

“Hi everyone, Tana and I want to thank you so much for your support over the past few weeks. We have had a heartbreaking weekend as Tana miscarried our son at five months. We are healing together as a family, but we want to thank you again for all your incredible support and well wishes. I especially want to say a huge thank you to the amazing team at Portland Hospital for all they have done. Gx.”

While some people don’t understand the true devastation of miscarriage, the loss is so devastating that it’s hard to put into words. For proof, all you have to do is look at what Tana Ramsay posted on Instagram on the five-year anniversary of the baby she lost.

“If all had gone as we hoped yesterday 10/14/21 would have been our little boy Rocky’s 5th birthday, his due date not his actual birth date when he was too small to survive,” she wrote in the caption. “Not a day goes by that we don’t think about him, but, it wasn’t meant to be.”
