Tracker Character Gets Written Off After Series Regular Exits the Show

As Tracker is gearing up to release its second season, the hit series has seen a significant casting setback. As exclusively reported by TVLine, actor Robin Weigert, who played Teddi Bruin, one of the handlers that assisted Colter Shaw in Season 1, will not return as a series regular for the second season. The departure of one of the show’s main stars certainly leaves a void in the main storyline, but neither CBS nor 20th Television have addressed how they are going to explain the character’s exit.

Along with McEnany, many other actors will be returning to the show, including Justin Hartley, who plays the lead character Colter Shaw, a lone-wolf survivalist who travels the country assisting the police in tracking down criminals and missing people. In addition, Jensen Ackles will reprise his highly anticipated role in Tracker Season 2. During the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour, Hartley and Elwood Reid addressed the subject.
