Tracker: Real-Life Couple Justin Hartley and Sofia Pernas Spark Love in Exclusive Trailer
When it comes to on-screen chemistry, Mr. and Mrs. Hartley are up against Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
TVLine has an exclusive first look at the March 24 episode of Tracker, which introduces Blood & Treasure’s Sofia Pernas (aka Justin Hartley’s real-life wife) as bounty hunter Billie Matalon
The episode—airing at a special time, Sundays at 8/7c, on CBS—sees Colter Shaw reluctantly team up with his rival to track down a missing racehorse. But Billie is no ordinary rival. She’s also Colter’s former partner and current nemesis, and she’s determined to find the thoroughbred and claim the bounty for herself. May the best man (or woman) emerge victorious!
Hartley and Pernas — who previously co-starred on the CBS soap opera The Young & The Restless — tied the knot in May 2021. As husband and wife, they starred opposite each other in a Season 1 episode of NBC’s reboot Quantum Leap.
As previously reported, Tracker was renewed for Season 2 after just four episodes. “We knew we had something special when we saw the first cut of the series, and the overwhelming response from viewers confirmed it,” CBS Entertainment President Amy Reisenbach said at the time. “We can’t thank Justin, our talented cast, our incredible writing and production team, and our partners at 20th Television enough for such compelling episodes. And of course, we’re incredibly grateful to the millions of viewers who tune in every week.”
The hour-long drama — based on Jeffrey Deaver’s novel “The Never Game” — stars Hartley (This Is Us) as the aforementioned Colter Shaw, a lone survivor who roams the country and uses his expert tracking skills to help private citizens and law enforcement solve all sorts of mysteries. Rounding out the cast are Fiona Rene as Reenie Greene, Robin Weigert as Teddi Bruin, Abby McEnany as Velma Bruin and Eric Graise as Bob Exley. Wendy Crewson returns as Colter’s mother, Mary.
