Tracker: Series Renewed for Season 2
Fans of Tracker are in for a treat: the CBS series has just been renewed for a second season, even though Season 1 hasn’t ended yet. In fact, Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley) will be back for another season with a whole new storyline. Season 1 premiered just after the Super Bowl in the US and was an instant hit, with the first episode being viewed more than 30 million times, according to Paramount Global.
The Tracker series, created by Hilary Weisman Graham and Ben Winters, is based on the novel The Never Game by Jeffery Deaver. It tells the story of Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley), an investigator who travels the country looking for missing people or solving criminal cases, helping both police and citizens. The cast also includes Robin Weigert (Big Little Lies), Abby McEnany (And Just Like That…), Eric Graise (Locke & Key) and Fiona Rene (Fire Country).
Following the renewal, Justin Hartley, who is also known for his roles as Kevin Pearson on the hit series This is Us and Oliver Queen on Smallville, posted a thank you on Instagram.
