TV super chef Gordon Ramsay spotted dining at Daata in Bray

The staff at Daata must have gotten quite the shock when the celebrity chef walked in the door after a long day of filming in Powerscourt.

But rather than barking orders, Mr. Ramsay instead sat down with his group and ordered Saleem’s Butter Chicken and Shamim’s Afghani Chicken – a dish that was highly rated by the star chef.

Daata wrote: “We are over the moon (and still shocked) that Gordon Ramsay chose Daata Bray to have his dinner tonight.

We cannot believe it. And his favourite dish was the Saleem’s Butter Chicken & SHamim’s Afghani Chicken.

We are honoured to have hosted him tonight and are over the moon by all his kind comments on our food, service, and ambiance.”

The tv chef, who is known for his hilarious outbursts and elevated taste in food and skill in the kitchen, had nothing but kind things to say about the meal and staff at Daata, who have been serving up the finest Indian and Pakistani food since 1999. Daata have made homes in both Bray and Greystones, where they have consistently been rated highly among locals and visitors alike.
