The actor, who plays Jack, will sit in the director’s chair for the first time.
Good news, Virgin River fans. Season 6 of the popular Netflix show is in production, and will be returned to our TV screens in the future. The streaming service hasn’t yet revealed when the show will air, but they did give fans a sneak peek at what’s to come.
The show’s official Instagram account shares a photo of star Martin Henderson (aka Jack Sheridan) taking on a new role on the series. For the first time, he will be directing an episode.
The post shows a photo of Martin wearing glasses and looking pleased with his new responsibilities. The caption reads, “Our very own Martin Henderson is having his directorial debut this season of Virgin River! 🎥 ❤️”
Fans left comments like, “OMG!!! I was so excited for this season, and this made me even more excited,” and “Awesome! Can’t wait for season 6.”
Martin’s costars took to the comments section to show support for their colleagues and even tease him a little bit:
“Rock n’ Roll brother! 🎬 🎥🙌🏾😎,” Colin Lawrence (Preacher)
“Martin ‘Scorsese’ Henderson 🎬,” Ben Hollingsworth (Brady)
“During his episode, I will be playing the role of Jack…I think that’s what the email said,” Mark Ghanimé (Cameron)
“LET’S GO HENDO!! 🫡🫡🫡,” Kai Bradbury (Denny)
“We will follow you anywhere Hendo! 🙌🏽,” Kandyse McClure (Kaia)
There’s no word yet on what will happen during the episode Martin is directing. The clapper in his hands says it’s season 6, episode 608. (One wishful fan suggested “Will he direct the episode of Jack and Mel’s wedding?❤️”). But we’ll be awaiting more news!
