The first four episodes of Bridgerton season three were released on May 16, and fans are hungry for the second part of Polin’s season!
Bridgerton announced back in December 2023 that the third season of the hit Netflix show would be split in half, with the first part released in mid-May and the second in mid-June.
It was clear following part one of the series that the season was split so that the audience was left on a cliffhanger after that incredibly steamy carriage scene that saw Colin ask for Penelope’s hand in marriage.
The first four episodes were released weeks ago which means that fans are eagerly awaiting their next installment. And the trailer for season 3 part 2 has had fans positively salivating as fans had a glimpse at some of the upcoming saucy scenes.
When is Bridgerton season 3 part 2 out? And what time?
The final episodes of Bridgerton season 3 will be released on Thursday, June 13 at 8am.
This means that Regency-era fans have had to wait for four weeks since the bombshell scene that shocked fans.
How many episodes will there be in season 3?
Like all of the Bridgerton series, there will be eight episodes in total meaning there are four episodes set to be released on Thursday.
The eight episodes will each be an hour long, with the finale lasting a little over the hour and ten-minute mark.
This means that fans will likely be able to indulge in around four more hours of Bridgerton drama before the season focused on Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton’s romance comes to a close.
Season 3 part 1 recap
In the first four episodes, Colin taught Penelope how to flirt and she caught the eye of the lovely Lord Debling, who also caught the fancy of Cressida Cowper. However just as Penelope was about to secure a proposal, Lord Debling realised she had her heart set on Colin and he called off their courtship.
Penelope then found herself confessing her feelings to Colin and things got pretty steamy in the back of a carriage. Colin then proposed to Penelope but the series ended before we could hear and answer!
Elsewhere, Francesca Bridgerton was courted by Lord Kilmartin, Anthony and Kate went on a second honeymoon, Lady Violet Bridgerton caught the fancy of Lady Danbury’s brother, and Eloise and Cressida’s newfound friendship looked shaky as Eloise became more verbal about her feminist beliefs.
The second instalment, episodes five to eight, are titled: Tick Tock, Romancing Mister Bridgerton (which is the name of the Julia Quinn novel the season is based on), Joining of Hands, and Into the Light.
