Tracker appealed to fans because of the show’s direction and the variety of mysteries Colter had to solve. Season 1 only got more interesting when guest stars like Hartley’s real-life wife Sofia Pernas, Melissa Roxburgh and Jensen Ackles joined the cast. Hartley even got to reunite with not one—but two!—of his former This Is Us co-stars: Jon Huertas and Jennifer Morrison.

Following the show’s first season finale, viewership numbers confirmed that Tracker was the most-watched series of the 2023-24 television season. However, this doesn’t come as a surprise to CBS, as they’ve already renewed Tracker for a second season.

When will ‘Tracker’ return to CBS for Season 2?
The show’s first season ran for 13 episodes and ended in May 2024. After its conclusion, the network confirmed that Tracker would return for the 2024-25 season. Season 2, which will run for 22 episodes, is scheduled to premiere on October 13, 2024.
