Which “bubble” TV show would you most like to see saved? Vote here!
Feeling a chill in the air? It’s a sign that the grim reaper of television is hovering, sharpening its scythe in preparation for thinning out the networks’ primetime flocks….
A number of scripted “bubble” series have already learned their fates, including CBS’s NCIS: Los Angeles (its two-part finale airs May 14/21)… Fox’s Monarch (which sang its swan song in December)… and NBC’s The Blacklist and The CW’s Riverdale and Nancy Drew, all of which are on or nearing the end of their farewell tours.
On the brighter side, CBS has renewed 19 of its shows so far, new breakout shows like Quantum Leap and NBC’s Night Court have been picked up for Season 2, and All American is one of two to three shows that will continue on the “new” The CW.
But before the final rounds of voting take place, we want to know which series you’re rooting for.
In the poll below, you’ll find nearly 30 scripted comedies and dramas that are currently “on the brink.” After evaluating these curated picks, vote for up to FOUR (4) shows that you want renewed (though most decisions may not be made until mid-May or, in some cases, later, for shows with spring premieres). VOTING ENDS WEDNESDAY, MARCH 22 AT 11AM EST; any shows renewed/cancelled before then will be removed from the poll.
Fun Facts: Legacies, Batwoman, and Legends of Tomorrow topped this poll last year, and… well, “if wishes were horses,” right? In that 2022 survey, Welcome to Flatch and Grand Crew came in the worst, and… their networks thought differently! Some previous winners include Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist in 2021 (which premiered on Christmas), S.W.A.T. (2020), The Rookie (2019), and Lucifer (2018, which Netflix “kept”).
