Sunday nights have gotten a little more interesting ever since CBS debuted its latest action drama Tracker. Not only do The Young and the Restless fans get to watch Justin Hartley (ex-Adam) travel across the country solving cases to make a living, they’ll get to see another familiar Genoa City face in an upcoming episode.
Hartley sat down with our sister site, The Hollywood Reporter, to talk about the series based on the book The Never Game by Jeffery Deaver and shared a fun little tidbit. His wife and former CBS soap actress Sofia Pernas (ex-Marisa) will be turning up in episode six as Billie.
“She is a blast from the past,” Hartley previewed. “Colter had a relationship with her and they were kind of in the reward business together.”
If you’re new to the series, Colter works as a rewardist, as the character deemed himself in the premiere episode on February 11. So, if he and his former flame used to work together, why don’t they anymore? Apparently she “sold him down the river…”
“It wasn’t great,” Hartley explained. “And so, they had a schism that happened in their relationship and she comes back into his life for a certain reason and they’re forced to work together in a way to get to a common goal.”
And if you’re wondering whether or not Colter will be happy about her reappearance in his life, Hartley added, “By the time you get to episode six, you will see this is outside of Colter’s comfort zone. There is obviously an attraction there, but something that happened that is very sad.”
Pernas’ episode titled “Lexington” should air sometime in March but until then, be sure to tune in every Sunday night at 9 pm, to see who Colter rescues next, or catch up on the new series today on Paramount+.
